Vera Ann McClaine of Lamar, Arkansas, was born March 20, 1914, to James L. and Frances Paralee (Freeman) Roberson, at Limestone Valley, Arkansas. She died June 24, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, Arkansas, at the age of 94. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth McClaine and wife, Brenda, of Lamar, Arkansas, Carl McClaine and wife, Molly, of Clarksville, Arkansas, and George McClaine and wife, Evonne, of Lamar, Arkansas; two daughters, Carolyn Hendriz and husband, Randall, of Page, Arizona, and Shirley McClaine of West Los Angeles, California; a sister, Ruth Wardlow of Crescent City, California; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John McClaine and her parents, James L. and Frances Paralee Freeman Roberson.
The family will recieve friends at the funeral home from 6-7:30 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2008. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel in Clarksville, with Dr. Darrell Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Holman Cemetery, in Lamar, Arkansas.
