Mary Rachel Ault, 93 of Logansport, died at 7:28 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2007 in Woodbridge Health Campus.
She was born June 11, 1913 in Cass County, IN, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Bessie Hildebran Babb. She was married June 11, 1933 to the late Rev. James E. Ault in Jonesboro, IN. He preceded her in death Sept. 28, 1956.
He served as pastor of The First Brethren Church in Hagerstown for 8 years from 1948-1956.
She attended the Twelve Mile United Methodist Church. She had been a past member of the Professional Business Womens Organization, and a member of the Poet Pathfinders Club. She had written many beautifull poems in her lifetime. She was also a member of the Sewing Club.
For over 30 years, she was a teller at the First National Bank, retiring in 1975.
Surviving are cousins, Keith Walker and his wife Carolyn, Hollis Babb and his wife Pauline, Dixie Neher and her husband Pat, Charlotte Leffert, and Paul Hildebran and his wife Marilyn, all of Logansport, and George Hildebran and his wife Mary, of Port Charlotte, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James E. Ault, and two sisters, Goldie (Mrs. Harold) Schock and Ruth (Mrs. Cliff) Rhodes.
