Born May 8, 1878, Draper. A son of Norman and Annie Smith Brown.
Married Gertrude Clayton June 22,1910.
She died June 22, 1929. Married Esther Smith Pugmire November 9, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
High Priest in Church. Participated in football, track and baseball in his younger years. Employee of Salt Lake City Street Dept. and Board of Health 35 years. After retiring at 70 he worked 4 years at Hill Air Force Base.
Survivors widow, three sons; Richard O. Salt Lake City; William C. Holliday; and Gary S. Hemet, Calif; six grandchildren and one brother, Ebenezer Brown, Draper.
Funeral Saturday noon, Monument Park Ward Chapel. 2051 Ramona Ave. Friends may call at 36 E 7th So. Friday 6-9 p.m. Saturday one hour prior to services.
Burial Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
