Gilford Lynn Toler and Nettie Myrtle Preston were married in Henry County, VA on April 02, 1928. Their industrious spirits and great work ethic, founded on their Christian values allowed them to not only survive but thrive through the economic uncertainties of their time. Gilford Toler was a deacon of his church, Kings Street Weselyn Memorial Church for a number of years. He left behind a legacy for all of his children and grandchildren to follow.
