Isaac Bressler, a farmer, married Frances Neff on November 29, 1821. Deeding his land in Upper Leacock and Lampeter Townships, Pennsylvania, on April 1, 1851, to Benjamin Landis, and his land in Manheim Township, Pennsylvania, to David Ford on the same date, Isaac moved with a large group of relatives and Mennonites to Illinois, settling in Jordan Township, Whiteside County. Many of those who resettled were wiped out by a cholera epidemic. Isaac and Frances Bressler had 12 children.
