He was a retired meter reader for Michigan Consolidated Gas Co., and was an Army veteran. He was Catholic. Survivors include his son, Jack R., Beaufort, S.C.; a sister, Dorothy Nagy, Detroit; and three grandchildren. Family Funeral Care, Hudson.
