Graveside services for Kathleen (Gibson) Landreth, 87, Montgomery, Alabama, were Monday, March 4 (1991) in the Lizton K of P Cemetery with Rev. David Kralow St. John officiating. David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro, was in charge of arrangements.
Born July 6, 1903 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Alva and Lena Gibson. In 1923, she married James R. Landreth, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1987.
Mrs. Landreth was pianist for many churches in Arizona and Indiana and had been a medical stenographer for the Veterans Administration.
She died Thursday, Feb. 28 (1991) at the home of her son in Montgomery, Alabama, where she had resided the past three years.
Surviving are son, James R. Landreth Jr., Montgomery, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Jane (Knetzer) Landreth; three grandchildren: Linda Harris (Mississippi), Mary Landreth (California) and James Landreth (Alabama).
