Mr. George (Washington) Baker, who had been living with his son John on East Main street, of this place, went to visit his nephew, Cores Paul in Jackson township and Sunday died from the effects of paralysis. He was the father of John and George W. of this place. He has been living in Middletown about 20 years. Mrs. Baker was also stricken (with) paralysis at her home in Royalton the same day that her husband Mrs. Baker died.

Mr. and Mrs. John H. Baker, sons Blanchard, Garry, and George, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Flannigan, Nellie and John Flannigan, George W. Baker and wife, Carrie and James Baker returned last evening from attending the funeral of Mr. Geo. Baker, held from Millers church, Jackson township.
