Known for a life of service as a loving father, police officer, and dutiful husband, David constantly put the needs of others ahead of his own. Born March 31, 1962 in Lansing, the son of Ronald & Jane (Marnak) Clark, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at age 50. David served in the U.S. Army and retired from law enforcement in 2006. David was also a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ronald & Jane Clark and a sister, Linda Clark. Surviving are his 3 children: Erika, Emily and James, 2 brothers: Doug (Lisa) Clark & Gary (Barbara) Clark, nieces and nephews: Stephanie, Stacey, Christina, Daniel, Heather, Michael and Katherine. The family would like to thank all of the staff of Hospice of Lansing/Stoneleigh Residence for preserving his dignity with kindness at a very difficult time. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00AM at St. Casimir Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Bill Lugger as celebrant. Visitation is Monday 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope Ave. where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation continues Tuesday at the church at 10:00AM. Memorials can be made to Stoneleigh Residence-Hospice of Lansing, St. Casimir Church or Beekman Center.
