During WWII, PFC Brown was a member of K Company, 311th Infantry, 78th Division and served in the European Theater. Bronze Star & Purple Heart

Robert Earl Brown married Kathryn M. Hodgson in 1939 in Newark, Arcadia Township, Wayne County, New York. He entered the Army on December 7, 1943 for the duration of World War II.
