Lois Dana, 80, of Kewanee died at 2:33 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Colonial Hall Center in Princeton.

Born Aug. 14, 1922, in Kewanee to Abb and Esther Boggs Hodgett , she married LeRoy L. Dana on May 3, 1942, in Kewanee. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, LeRoy Dana of Chenoa; four daughters, Diana Schreck of Peoria, Linda Dana of Lake Zurich, Pat (and Bob) Celus of Annawan and Grace Hand of Kewanee; 17 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Dana (and Grace) Hodgett of Neponset; and two sisters, Rowena Miller of Stevens Point, Wis., and Marjorie Hodgett of Galesburg.

She was preceded in death by one son, David A. Dana, and one sister.

She had worked as a bookkeeper for Dana Manufacturing and also had been a sales clerk at J.C. Penney in Kewanee.

She was a member of First Congregational Church in Neponset, where she served as the choir director.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. The Rev. Ronald Toliver will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee.
