The kids found Pepper on their way home from school one day. He was approx. 6 weeks old & very sick. He was to weak to eat, so I fed him milk through a syringe. We nursed him back to health & kept him.
I call him my "fat boy". He weight 17 lbs at one point.
He loved to sit on the tallest pole overlooking the yard.
And he loved to play with
Cinnamon.
They used to race through the house over & under furniture.
His kidneys started to fail one day. We went through IV fluids, antibiotics & lots of vet visits. He jumped out of the car after I had taken him to the vet one day & was lost for almost one week. I found him.
Pepper was a good sport about his illness. But one day after he lost so much weight & to weak for any kind of surgery, his body couldn't do anymore. We had to put him to sleep.
It about broke my heart to lose him.
I am thankful for the time we had with him. I'm glad the kids found him & brought him home. I have loved him like no other.
Be happy little man. For you have enlightened my life greatly.
