Otis Wesley, 81, passed away on April 21, 2000. He was born on July 19, 1918, to Louis Joel and Elmina McNamer Bales in Goodnight, OK. During World War II, he served in the Marines at Guadalcanal. On June 8, 1946, he married his wife Ada, in San Francisco, CA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that worked as a civil servant at Tinker Air Force Base. He belonged to the 1st Christian Church of Midwest City, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Moose Lodge, American LegionPost 170, where he served on many military color guard teams, and the American Legion 40 and 8. He is survived by his sons, Robert Bales and wife, Carol and John W. Bales and wife, Becky, all of Mustang, OK; daughter, Ruth Segadi and husband, Robert of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Janet, Cheryl, Ruth, Scott, and Kelly; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ada; 8 brothers and sisters. Services will be held at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel on Tuesday, April 25,at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Arlington Memory Gardens.
