Death: May 21, 1926

Cleveland Tabor Blankenship was the seventh of ten born to farmer Floyd Wynn and Malinda Elizabeth Rhoda Grabill Blankenship. His siblings are John W., Alice A. (Tackett), Flanery E., Marvin Hendrix., Francis/Frank E., Alva Wesley, Oliver Edward, and Peter Floyd Blankenship. He was a farmer, 34 years old and single in the 1920 Census.

After the death of his father in 1903, Cleveland, his mother Malinda Elizabeth Rhoda Blankenship, and brother Peter "Floyd" continued to live with him on the farm. Cleveland was not listed as living with his mother, Oliver, and Peter in the 1910 Census. Cleveland was never married and died (21 May 1926) before his mother (March 1928).

Cleveland died at age 40y, 5m, 10d. at the Missouri Methodist Hospital at Bethany, Missouri. COD: Intra Abdominal hemorrhage (2 days), with acute spleen Leukemia (2 months). He had exploratory surgery on 17 May. Cleveland was buried 5/23/1926 at Ridgeway, MO.

Cleveland's death certificate listed him as married, with his wife's name Malinda Blankenship. However, this is thought to be incorrect, as he was head of the house, caring for his mother Malinda as she was not in good health, and also for his younger brother Peter "Floyd"
