"Bertha I. Potter Murray-Bertha Iona Potter, 82 passed away January 2, 1989 at a local care center. Born February 28, 1906 in Provo to Almond I. and Ollie A. Bray Carter. Married Charles E. Potter February 17, 1925 in Salt Lake city; later solemnized in the W. Jordan LDS Temple. Worked at the Primary Children's Hospital. Active member LDS Church. Past president of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Survived by children and spoused, Charles Farrell and Alta Potter, Murray; Marie Potter, Kearns; Gale and Anna Mae Christensen, Kearns; 17 grand-children; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ruth Coy; Alonzo Carter, both Denver; Delta Wilkie, Payson; Venice Clark, Durango, Colo,; Harold Carter, Orem. Preceded in death by son, Glenn and husband Charles. Funeral services 2p.m., Thursday, Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior Thursday. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Funeral directors, Memorial Estates, Mortuary." Obituary in Deseret News 01/03/1989
