B. Lucille Adams, 92 of Kirksville passed away Wednesday (January 6, 2010) at Northeast Regional Medical Center. Lucille was born January 4, 1917 in Greentop, MO, the daughter of E.P. (Pearl) and Gertrude B. (Ertel) Adams.
She grew up in Greentop and graduated from the Greentop High School. She attended Kirksville State Teachers College and graduated from Chillicothe Business College. She moved to Tulsa, OK and was employed with Braden Steel Company where she was secretary to the President until her retirement. She moved back to Kirksville in April of 1985.
She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Lucille is survived by her sister, Pauline Adams of Kirksville and several cousins, Shirley LaCore of Branson, MO, Jane Story of Brashear, MO, Nancy Meade of Milo, IA, Bill Ertel of Greentop, MO and Marlene Mullins of Lancaster, MO. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, E.P. Adams Jr.
