PLEVNA - Michael Earl "Mike" Allen, 50, died May 23, 2012. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa, Feb. 23, 1962, the son of Robert Allen and Harry Harold and Joan Amos Allen Peek.

He was a graduate of Centerville High School, Centerville, Iowa, a member of Abbyville Community Church and was Owner/Operator of Quality Siding Company, Plevna, Kan.

He is survived by a loving companion, Joann Malone of Coldwater/Plevna; daughters, Shauna Allen of Hutchinson, Crystal Williams of Abbyville, and Jamie Ndungu of Ft. Worth Texas; a son, Justin Williams of Abbyville; five grandchildren, Colton, Tim, Christa, Jonah and Joshua; a brother, Randy Allen of Crete, Neb.; and a sister, Betty Ann Thomas of Centerville, Iowa. He was preceded in death by an infant son; his father; his mother and stepfather.

His memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2012, at Abbyville Community Church, with Pastor Jacob Snyder officiating.

Inurnment burial will be in Abbyville Cemetery. Friends may sign his register book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with family present 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Abbyville Community Church or donor's choice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
