William Henry "Old Bill" Bishop, age 84 years, 9 months, of Gill, WV, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bertha Walls in Ranger, 5 days after having a stroke.
Bill, who was a farmer, was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Laura Belle Mays, an infant son, Basil, and his second wife, Manerva Brumfield Bishop.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carl E. & Marie (Knight) Bishop, 2 grandsons, Bill Bishop and Bob Bishop, and several children by his second marriage.
