Sarah Ann Tishue was the daughter of Clarissa Shirer and John Kemp Tishue. There were 14 siblings in her family. She was the 2nd child and her baby brother died the day that she was born. Sarah Ann Tishue married Frisby F. Humbertson 01 January 1871 in the M.E. Church, Frostburg, Allegany County, Md. The resided at 191 Bowery Street, Frostburg, Maryland. They had the following children: Mary Humbertson b: 08 Oct 1871--d: 18 Nov 1871;
Clarissa "Clara" Humbertson b: 27 Nov 1879--d:16 Dec 1966;
Josie Humbertson b: 22 March 1884--d: 19 April 1884;
Lulu Minerva Humbertson b: 18 Jan 1889--d: 11 Oct 1969
Ruth Humbertson b: 21 Jan1891--d: 08 Oct 1918;
Annie Humbertson b: 29 June1894--d: 18 June 1902
Sarah Ann & Frisby F. Humbertson raised their Granddaughter Sara Elnora Humbertson, as her mother died when she was 4 1/2 year old. Sara Elnora b: 21 Feb 1914 in Frostburg, Allegany County, Md. Baptized 18 Nov 1922 by Methodist Minister. Sara Elnora graduated from Beall High School June 1931. Frostburg, Allegany County, Md. She married Earl Price Steiding 13 August 1933 in Ridgeley, West Virginia.

Frostburg, Dec. 5.—Mrs. Sarah Ann Humbertson, 89, 191 Bowery street, widow of Frisby Humbertson, died early today. She had been confined to her bed since last Wednesday.In the past five months, she had sustained two fractured ribs and a broken wrist in a fall. Prior to that time, she had been very active. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Clara Humbertson, at home, and Mrs. Charles Smith, this city, and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was a sister of John Tissue, Uniontown; Mrs. Jennie Cunningham, and Mrs. Eva Barnes, Connellsville, and Mrs. Ella Park, Pittsburgh.
