Omar E. Butler

Ill for the last two months. Omar Eugene Butler. 49, of Lucasville, Rt.2. Long Run community, died at 3:30 p. m. Sunday, in Mercy Hospital. Death was attributed to complications.

An employee of the road fabricating department at Detroit Steel for 30 years, Mr. Butler was born Jan 22, 1904, in Lewis County Ky., a son of Charles and Elizabeth Fuller Butler. He was married in 1925 to Clara Raike, who survives.

Mr. Butler was a member of the Methodist Church and the United Steel Workers, Local 2117. Surviving besides his wife, are his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Butler, at home; a son, Charles, at home; a daughter, Miss Ellen Butler, at home and a brother, Herman of Cleveland.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Funeral services will held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Howland Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Maywood officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
