Son of Wilfred Peloquin and Pearl Mitchell Peloquin Plouffe, sibling to 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Ray graduated from Chicopee High School in 1959. His varied career life included four years in the Air Force; owning and operating Ray's Restaurant and the Stanchion Bar in western Massachusetts; and in Provincetown, where he lived for 35 years, every aspect of restaurant and hotel work at the Provincetown Inn, Gifford House, Lobster Pot, the soda fountain at Archie's Drugstore, where Cape Tip Sportswear now stands, and his own Mazel Tov Restaurant, where Cafe Heaven is today.
