Frank was a 6th great-grandson of George Soule, a pilgrim on the Mayflower.

The Holden Progress Jun 22, 1916 Frank Soule was born in Hartford, Conn, Oct 30, 1847 and died June 15, 1916, at his home two miles west of Kingsville, after a lingering illness. He was united in marriage to Anna A. Longacre, in June 1872. To this union four children were born, two of whom are dead, and the remaining two, Carrie A. Clary and Clay E. are both living in Kansas City. In December 1889, the mother of these children died, and in 1891 Mr. Soule was united in marriage to Carrie Bay. To this union four children were born: Samuel, Mary, Richard and Bessie. The funeral services were held at the home Saturday morning conducted by Rev. Phil Stark and interment took place in the Bluff Springs Cemetery. A quartet composed of Misses Berenice Calhoun and Edith Hesler, Rev. Stark and Joe Greaves furnished the music. To the bereaved family and relatives we offer our sympathy in their bereavement.
