Mrs. Fannie Wade, wife of Dr. A. Wade a mile south of Colfax, died at the family residence at 12 o'clock midnight, Wednesday, May 7, inst., and was buried from the Presbyterian church yesterday after a short but impressive funeral service by Rev. Murphy, Baptist Minister. Deceased was 55 years of age had been married to the husband who survives her thirty four years. Her nine surviving children were all present at the obsequies except two. She was a faithful helpmeet and a loving, devoted mother.
