Pvt. Thomas Pierce was a Drummer with CO "D" 4th Louisiana
Infantry. This Unit was know as "The Louisiana Tigers". Their Unit Flag "gentle as a Lamb' written on it. They were everythin But! These fellows worked the Warfs of New Orleans and their commander was a 400 pound giant. Their Uniform, Zouave. you had to be tough to wear this uniform. is was not your regular Confederate Gray!
