Charles Lombardi of Coburn Dies in Salinas Sunday.
Charles Lombardi, well known dairyman of the Coburn district, died at Salinas Sunday morning, after an illness of two months' duration. Mr Lombardi had been under treatment at Salinas for about two weeks. He was 64 years of age and a native of Switzerland.
Surviving the deceased are: His wife, Mrs. Adelina Lombardi, and the following five children; Joseph, Charles Jr. and John Lombardi, Mrs. Margaret Adami and Mary Lombardi all of Coburn district.
The deceased had lived in the Coburn district for the past ten years. He came here from Santa Cruz county. During his residence in this county he had not only been successful and prosperous, but also established a reputation among a large circle as a good neighbor, a good friend and a good citizen.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the family home; thence to St. John's church in King City where high mass was observed. Interment was at the King City cemetery. The following old friends of the deceased acted as pall bearers: John Panzera, John Foletta, S. F. Foletta, Pio Scaroni, A. Morettini and P. Guidici.

March, 1915. Mr. Chas. Lombardi a dairyman from Santa Cruz, California purchased 143 acres of land in Coburn (near King City) from Cris Widemann. A bungalow and a large barn are on the land.
That same year Mr. Lombardi and his oldest son Joseph walked from Santa Cruz to King City with his herd of dairy cows. Mrs. Lombardi, Charlie, John, and Margaret used transportation. Mary was born in August of 1915 in King City.

Marriage License information: Charles Lombardi native of Switzerland, aged 36 years, resident of Santa Cruz State of California, and Adelina Cicardini native of Switzerland, aged 22 years, resident of Santa Cruz California Married the 27th day of October 1897.
Church Record: St. Johns Parish, King City CA. Carlo Lombardi, husband of Adelina Cicardini, 64 years old from King City, died Dec 14, 1924 and was buried from St. John's Church, on Dec 16, 1924 in the King City Cemetery.
