MISS RICKER BURIED AT STOCKBRIDGE
Miss Regina Ricker died Oct. 17, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Leo Stein, of St. Francis, after a year’s illness. Miss Regina was born at Fussville, Wis., Sep. 8, 1866. At the age of 2 she came with her parents to the town of Stockbridge and located on the farm known as the Ricker homestead, where she grew to womanhood. In 1920 she moved with her mother and sister to Menasha, where she resided until her death. Regina bore her suffering patiently, her passing, though expected, came as a shock to her relatives. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. “For none knew her but to love her, none named her but in praise.”
She is survived by three sisters, Mary, Mrs. Anna Martin of Sherwood, and Mrs. Frances Stein of St. Francis; and one brother, Nick Ricker of Stockbridge.
After a solemn High Mass, followed by a sermon by Rev. Fr. Clifford of St. Patrick’s Church, Menasha, the remains were conveyed to St. Mary’s Cemetery at Stockbridge, and laid to rest in the family lot beside her parents, who preceded her in death some years ago.
