Suggested edit: SOURCE FOR MARRIAGE DATE: The Manchester Journal (Manchester, Oklahoma) · 18 Oct 1901, Fri · Page 4
Ernest J. Paulk and Miss Cora A. Wood, eldest daughter, of E. A. Wood, were married at Anthony last Saturday [12 OCT 1901] by S. F. McGowen, probate Judge of Harper County.
A dinner was served at the residence of the bride's parents Sunday and at the home of the grooms parents Monday. About 40 relative and guests were present.
The groom is an honest, sober and industrious young man to whom the bride will indeed prove a helpmeet, as she comes of sturdy stock.
They will probably live on a rented farm the coming year but we opine the time is not far off when with the same thrift that has been shown they will own a farm in Manchester Township.
