Harold Arthur Emil Meyer, age 67, Moss Point, died Sunday, February 27, 1983 at Singing River Hospital. Mr. Meyer was born November 3, 1915 in Milwaukee, WI. He married Cecilia Elizabeth Krzewina, Saturday, December 30, 1939 in Milwaukee, Wi.
He had lived in Moss Ponit since 1978, coming here from Franklin, WI. after selling his business. He was a retired machinist, a member of Elmer Joseph Grant VFW Post No. 3373 and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. ARMY during World War II.
Preceded in death by his father; Emil Meyer, an Infant son, his grandson Steven Buehl and son-in-law Mike Buehl
Survivors included his wife; Mrs. Cecilia (Krzewina) Meyer, Moss Point, two daughters; Mrs. Joan Buehl, Gautier, and Mrs. Ruth (Woodrow) Steiner, Pascagoula, two sons; Lt. Clarence (Candeth) Meyer, U.S. Navy, Fort Meade, MD. and Arthur (Debra) Meyer, Escatawpa, his morther; Amy (Littmann) Meyer, Imperial Beach, CA., a brother; Edward (Norma) Meyer, Milwaukee, WI. and a sister; Anita (William) Olafson, Imperial Beach, CA., 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at O'Bryant~O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, where Rosary will be said at 8:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Rev. Father James Taylor and the Rev. Father Frank Scott officiating. Interment in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.
