Marker reads as Lt. George R. Adams Jr.

George was the son of George Raymond Adams Sr. & Mary Ida Graston[sic] Adams

George's siblings:

John Grafton Adams (1890-1953)
Minnie Mae Adams Wager (1897-1975)

Second Lieutenant Adams was stationed with the 27th Bomb Group, at Harding Field, Louisiana.

He was killed piloting U.S. Army Air Corps A-20B Havoc #41-3256, in takeoff accident at Duncan Field, Texas.

Staff Sergeant James S. Eakes also perished.
