He is survived by his wife and 9 children and one child that wasn't born yet at the time of his death.
In Loving Memory of Our Dad Russell Elmer Terrill (from the News- Register Wheeling newspaper)2014
Your name will forever be etched in our minds. You were pulled from our lives in our very young years. You were a very hard worker trying to provide a good life for 9 children. We remember you pulling logs out of the woods with a two horse team. We remember the times we were with you logging, and our lunch would be sardines and Fig Newtons. We had a lot of fun fishing, hunting, working the farm, and getting to swim in the creeks on Sundays. But then there were some unpleasant days that we try not to remember. We wonder how our lives would have turned out to be if you had lived, and could have seen your sons, wives and their children. You will never forgotten and will always have a place in our hearts. Sadly Missed and Loved by Family.
