Mr. Bright was an outdoorsman and enjoyed golf, hunting and gardening. He was a former race car driver his nickname was "dirt tracker." He retired after 37 years of service with Monsanto and had worked with the Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Rhodes Bright; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin (Melanie) Bright; brother, Wayne Bright; grandchildren: Kayla Lucas, Christopher Cash, & Kara Bright.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Dana Bright Lucas.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 10th at the First Baptist Church of Leesville with Rev. Ron Pelfry officiating.
Pallbearers were the deacons of First Baptist Church of Leesville and honorary pallbearers the Sunday School Class of the church.
The Milton Shealy Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
