Holloway, John Timothy, age 51, of Louisville, formerly of Madisonville, the Lord our Savior called home our son, brother, uncle and friend 12:57 A.M. Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital, after a hard lengthy battle with cancer. To many he was simply known as "John-Boy". Now his suffering is over as he walks hand in hand the streets of gold with our Lord. He was one of the best mechanics you could find from cars to diesel trucks, there was nothing he couldn't fix. He was one of the kindest souls you could know who would help anyone that needed help. He was a big lover of animals from raising chickens to having 3 Bassett hounds riding with him everywhere he went. Special friends were always part of John's life and so many lives that he touched each and every day, so he will be missed by many. As we sadly grieve the loss of our precious John-Boy here with us on our short life and journey on earth, we will rejoice in that fact that he lives on eternally in heaven and we will at our Lord's time join him forever more. A 1976 graduate of Madisonville High School. Survivors, beloved mother who cared for him until his depart from his earthly body, Kathleen Sue Holloway, Louisville, Beloved father and step-mother, John W. & Juanita Holloway, Vonore, Beloved sisters & caregiver, Jennifer Holloway Craig, Louisville, Kathey Holloway Kramar, Sweetwater, Beloved brother & sister-in-law, Jeffery J. & Angie Holloway, Madisonville, Nieces & nephews, Austin & Michelle Byrum, Crystal Dotson, Melissia Graham, Lacey & Eric McDonald, Chelsea Holloway, Derek Kramar, Carrie Kramar, Gabrielle Craig, Rhiannon Holloway, Rhett Holloway, Plus several great-nieces & nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, Special friend, Vose P. Newman, an advocate animal lover. Preceded in death by grandmother, Reba Tyler, papaw & granny, Ben & Ann Holloway. Funeral 7 P.M. Saturday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Don Cordell officiating.
