Mrs. Annie Von Harten was the estimable wife of a Galveston merchant, of the firm of Von Harten & Nichols. She was accompanied by her youngest child, "Rose," a little girl of three years. She leaves six children living, the oldest of whom is a fine lad of seventeen, now at the University of Tennessee. Mrs. Von Harten was an English lady, but resided for some time before her marriage in Chicago. She was a communicant of the Episcopal church, having received the right of confirmation at the hands of Bishop Gregg, at his visitation in the first part of this year.
