Born Louis Agnes Kennalie, her mother was Annie G (Kennalie) King of Taunton, Massachusetts, married at that time to Charles O. King. Annie had a previous marriage to Eli Foster and a later marriage to Robert Fitton. In 1919, Louise was adopted by Edward Carroll and Margaret (Flaharty) Carroll, and her name changed to Mary Louise Carroll. She grew up in the Boston area, where she married George Earl Feener and moved with him to Fairhaven, MA, where she lived for her entire adult life. She raised three children and doted on her many grandchildren. She was well loved and is sorely missed.
