Funeral Services for Mrs. Harry Osborn of rural Warrensburg were held Monday, May 17 at Illini Congregational Church with Rev. A.B. McKeith officiating and Mrs. J.A. Greer, organist.
Mrs. Osborn died Friday, May 14 at the Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Helen Tucker Osborn was born near Warrensburg Dec. 28, 1906 a daughter of Joseph T. and Bessie Batchelder Tucker. A graduate of University of Illinois, She trained as a dieticion at Mt. Sinai, NY. until her marriage to Harry Miles Osborn on December 28, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1968.
She was a member of the Illini Congregational Church, Illini Women's Fellowship, Warrensburg Concordia Club, Order of Eastern Star, Warrensburg-Harristown Home Extension, Decatur Garden Club and Decatur Memorial Hospital Volunteers.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Betty Ann) Ladd of Silver Springs, MD.; sisters, Dr. Ruth Tucker, Kingston, RI., Mrs. Russell (Mary) DeCoursey, Storrs, CT., nephew, Lowell DeCoursey, Grandy, CT., niece, Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Richardson, Saratoga, CA., and grand nephew and grand niece, Billy and Robin Richardson.
Burial was in Illini Cemetery.
