Converse – Sandra Lynn Buckler, 64, died Monday, May 12, 2014 in Howard Regional Hospital, Kokomo, Indiana. She was born in Marion, Indiana on August 13, 1949 to the late William S. and Lois (Binnion) Gosnell. She married Gary Buckler on January 21, 1995 and he survives. Sandra was a certified Phlebotomist and worked for over 28 years at Marion General Hospital. She was a lifetime attendee at Sims Wesleyan Church, where she was a member or the Women's Group. She was also a member of the Multiple Myeloma and Renal Foundation and enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, camping and fishing.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Gary Buckler, Converse; daughter, Anita Goodman, Swayzee; sons, Todd Goodman, Bloomington, IL, Preston (Amber) Fritch, Zanesville and Anthony (Deanna) Fritch, Montpelier, VA; stepchildren, Brad Buckler, Marion, Vanessa (Bryan) Hadley, Indianapolis and John Buckler, Marion; 21 grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, Garry ( Mollie) Gosnell, Swayzee and Chip Gosnell, Swayzee, and special friends, Carla Cochran, Gas City and Pam Kooi, Bloomington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William S. and Lois Gosnell; brothers, Larry and Randy Gosnell; grandparents, Hurston and Bertha Binnion and Claude Gosnell and Rachel Bailey. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington Street, Swayzee, Indiana. Funeral Service will be at 10 am on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington Street, Swayzee, Indiana with Pastor Brian Williams officiating.
