Funeral Services Set For Saturday

Funeral services for Gerald Elroy Lueck, Army Corps Veteran, who died Wednesday at the Jamestown hospital where he has been a patient since January, have been set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m.. He had been ill since September.

Rev. W.W.A, Keller, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, will be in charge at the Eddy Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Home Cemetery.

Mr. Lueck was born in Jamestown November 24, 1921, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lueck, Spiritwood. He attended achool in Rose Township and was graduated from Spiritwood high school. He served in the United States Army Air Corps in 1942 prior to receiving a mediacl discharge. After leaving the army, he worked for a year in Chicago, Ill., before returning to the farm where he farmed with his parents. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church, the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion, Jamestown.

Mr. Lueck and Miss Dorothy Iverson were married in Jamestown January 31, 1948. The family home is at 1018 Ninth Ave. S.E..

Survivors are his widow and a son Allen; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lueck, Spiritwood; and two brothers, John and Kenneth, Spiritwood. A sister, Mildred, preceded him in death.
