Marysville, Pa. March 14, 1887
John Baughman, who was removed to the Insane Asylum at Harrisburg last Summer, died at that institution last Friday. His remains were brought to his late residence in this place, (Marysville) Saturday noon. HIs burial will take place tomorrow.
John was a veteran of the Civil War.

John S. Baughman, of Marysville, formerly of New Buffalo, well known to many people here abouts died in the insane asylum at Harrisburg, on Friday the 11th. He was a member of Co. K, 83rd, Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, and Marysville Post G.A.R.

He leaves a wife and five children. His health had been failing for about four years, and was nearly a year in the asylum. Funeral at Marysville, on Tuesday, Age about 48 years.
