Margaret Douglas Braden, 71, of Memphis, retired teacher for Memphis City Schools after 40 years, died Wednesday (December 8, 2004) at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Second Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of Rachel Circle, with burial in Elmwood. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. She leaves a daughter, Sarah B. Curtis, and a sister, Nona D. Lackey, both of Memphis, and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Second Presbyterian Church Music Ministry.
