Frances was the youngest of five children {two sons & three daughters} born to Alexander F. & Constantina A. (Lamusga) Wotzka.

On 26 August 1910, Frances married Michael Francis Cully Jr. in Brown County, SD. NOTE: In the marriage record, her given name was recorded as "Pearl" rather than Frances. In other references, she had been cited as using the "business name" of Pearl Miller. They ultimately divorced (date currently unknown) but she was named on his 1965 Grand Forks North Dakota death certificate.

In the 1940 Federal Census, Frances reported she was single & working as a freelance saleswoman in Chicago. The 1950 Census showed her as a widow & saleswoman for a wholesale soda company.
