Martin Edward Jaster was a son of Gottlieb JASTER and Amelia (SCHAUER) JASTER.

Martin Jaster was wounded and died in France during World War I.

A "cenotaph" for Martin Edward JASTER is among those lining the entrance of Prairie Lea Cemetery in Burton, honoring the memory of those killed in action during World War I, who were initially interred overseas.
