"The LaFayette (AL) Sun" - March 29, 1916:
Death of Rev. Charles L. Bragaw.
We learn from a notice in the Christian Observer, Louisville, Ky., that Rev. Charles L. Bragaw died on March 8, 1916, at Cliffe, New Mexico, where he had gone in hope of regaining his health. He will be remembered by many friends in LaFayette where he was born and reared, the son of Mr. Neil Bragaw. At the age of twenty-five he decided to study for the ministry and entered the Kentucky Theological Seminary, Louisville, in 1901. He spent the year 1904-05 at Columbia Theological Seminary; he was licensed in 1908 by the Presbytery of East Hanover. He held pastorates in Nebraska and in North Carolina, and until a short time before his death was pastor in Kentucky. During his brief ministry, says the Observer, he was a most earnest, faithful and consecrated laborer in the Kingdom of God.
