Terry passed away at a friend's apartment in Westminster of natural causes. At the time he was employed at the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, Maryland and living in Westminster. He was a 1967 graduate of Sykesville High School.
Terry was a member of the U.S. Marine Corp until his medical discharge in November 1969 for wounds sustained in Vietnam.
He was survived by his parents, Harry M. Cromwell, Woodbine, Betty Jennings Hartle of Winfield, siblings, Debra, Vicki, Timothy, George and Eric.
Also surviving at the time of his death, was his stepfather, George M. Hartle, stepmother Valerie Cromwell; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. George M. Cromwell and Mr. & Mrs. Robert Jennings and a great grandmother, Mrs. Cynthia Jennings of Ohio.

He was a warm, sincere and honest friend. Here is one of his poems he shared with me.
Fire - the light of men's lives. It crackles with the warmth of the sun
Men's smiles bring forth its glory; Men's eyes reflect its brightness
Within your soul, I find in visions, the essence of the very universe itself
Fire lives within you - give
People - we think them intelligent beings. But people ignorant of the complexities and prejudices of civilization are wiser than can be imagined.
