AYDEN ? Ms. Mae Belle Buck Barber died Thursday, June 23, 2005. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at National Cemetery in New Bern; the officiate will be Harold Turner. Burial will follow at National Cemetery.
She was employed with Sears Roebuck & Co. for several years. Then she went into Hazel Keller Cosmetics business as a cosmetic dealer. She had been in cosmetics for over 30 years. She was known as the "cosmetics lady." She was a member of Timothy Christian Church and was active in Christian Women's Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Barber, on April 4, 1995, and her daughter, Glenda Fulcher, on December 6, 1998.
She is survived by one brother, Wesley Buck; three sisters, Cannie B. Dixon, Louise B. Smith, and Frances B. Jordan; and two grandchildren, David Curtis Fulcher and Andrea Elizabeth Ballinger of Raleigh.
