World War II, Army Corps of Engineers, Master Electrician, married to Mildred Virginia Johnson. Only son of John and Smithy Brockman. Children: Marsha Brockman, Gina Brockman, William Brockman, Richard Brockman. Cause of death: Leukemia. Kind, gentle, and loving father who worked hard. He loved to fish and hunt, and loved baseball.
During The War, he slogged through the Pacific Islands, building landing strips for airplanes, under fire much of the time. He was in New guinea, New Caledonia, and many other Islands. He was stationed in Nagasaki after the Bomb. He saw shadows of people burnt onto buildings. A large number of men in his outfit died later from leukemia, as he did.
