Death: Jun. 30, 1985

Dau of William "Will" Mathis Stayton (1869-1945) and Anna Bell Board (1869-1933) who are buried in Cove Creek Cemetery, Bates Co MO.
Will and Anna had three children with two dying in infancy, Marie was raised as an "only" child.

M: Rease Sims Dec 31, 1929. Rease was killed in an automobile accident in Wrap CO in 1973.

Marie and Rease had eight children: Kenneth, David, Ruth (m: Austin), Doris (m: Kaupp), Marvin and three who died in infancy.

Marie's service was July 5 1985 at the Haigler Methodist Church with Rev. Ross Kershaw officiating. Music was by Florence Douglass, soloist and Virginia Harford, organist. Escorts were Earl Erdman, Keith Campbell, Darrell Cox, Ward Wonder, Lyle Hoffman and Keith Day.
