"Funeral services for Milton A. Alford, 87, who died yesterday morning [July 27] in the home of his son, Henry, three miles southwest of Rogersville will be at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the home. Surviving are two other sons, George and Everett of Springfield; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Young of Rogersville, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Alford was a pioneer resident of the Rogersville vicinty. He went there from Tennessee when a child.
