CARROLLTON - Services for Gladys Louise "Mama Dimp" Smith, 76, of Carrollton, who died of liver disease Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garner-Harper Funeral Home in Grenada.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.

Her husband, Raymond Smith, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Jody Strider of Grenada; a son, Larry Smith of Carrollton; four sisters, Nina Herbert of Jackson, Mary Minyard of McCarley, Nell Joiner of Holcomb and Tessie Carroll of Greenwood; four grandchildren and one stepgrandson.

The Rev. Gary Tanner will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Holcomb.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to French Camp Academy, One Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745.
