Franklin "R. E." Brewer, 69, of Thayer, MO, was born Nov. 8, 1932 in Myrtle, MO, and died Nov. 18, 2001 at the Shady Oaks Health Care Center.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed being outdoors and such activities as hunting and fishing.
Survivors include three brothers, Jay Brewer of Hardy, AR; Junior Brewer of Thayer, MO; and Grover Brewer of Pocahontas, AR; four sisters, Vada Wilburn of Springfield, MO; Patsy Griffith of Thayer; Sadie Foulks of Pocahontas; and Wilma Williams of Kokoma, IN; one daughter, Tonya Adamik, her mother Lea Davisson; one granddaughter, Bailey Adamik; two step-children, Debra Boyd and Darrell Clark all of Fair Grove, MO; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward Cornelius and Emma Viola (Combs) Brewer; two brothers, Paul and Bob Brewer; and one sister, Joan Wornica.
Graveside services were Nov. 19, 2001 at the Cotton Creek Cemetery with Bro. David Honeycutt and Bro. Grover Pingleton officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Mammoth Spring.
