He enlisted in the Maryland National Guard on February 3, 1941, prior to the war, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted as being employed in printing and publishing and also as Single, without dependents.

Rosario "Died Of Wounds" received in action during the war in the Pacific arena and was awarded the Purple Heart.
